When Tina left school she also left behind her desire to paint and draw since she followed advice to explore a more academic route! However, the creativity remained locked within and Tina started painting again some four years ago after giving up her career to return to full time education. This was just the beginning of a long creative journey for Tina that started with early successes such as winning three art-related awards, several exhibitions, and having one of her paintings exhibited at a Gallery in London 's Cork Street !
Tina has become known for her series of paintings called 'Emotionsand these bold, colourful portraits of 'Today's Woman' have brought her much sales success. A selection of these portraits is now featured on several internet sites.
Along with these strong portraits Tina has a fairly diverse range of styles, and she also enjoys abstract work and the freedom such painting allows her. She is constantly trying out new media, new techniques, new styles and new subjects and the evidence of that is here in her gallery rooms.

Tina also takes commissions for portraits in the style of her 'Today's Woman' gallery paintings, working from photographs. It is a preference for Tina to do her own photography, but if the portrait is required for a surprise it is possible that she could work from an existing photograph, as long as it meets certain criteria.
Please note that this style of portrait is only really successful for people with hair at shoulder length & longer since as you will see from the images the main feature of the painting is hair. Feel free to contact Tina to discuss the options for this service.

'We are featuring two of Tina's floral themed paintings, 'The Big Blues' and 'Petals In Pink' in our 'Les Fleurs' exhibition, starting 24th March and ending on 18th May 2006. These paintings are representative of the graphic style common to much of her work, especially the commercially successful 'Emotions' series. With this series, Tina seems to be exploring the superficiality of femininity, without relying on criticism to make her point. She willingly glamorises the superficiality of contemporary expectations of womanhood, somehow acknowledging that beauty comes from within. We are very happy to be working with Tina and hope you enjoy her work as much as we do.'

'Sunlight on the Stairs' is an Installation at Milton Keynes College , designed specifically for their new building completed in 2002. It is a combination of three pieces, two canvasses painted with acrylic and an acrylic panel painted with stained glass paint. The pieces are hung from top to bottom of an 11 metre tall wall stretching the length of three floors and stairways and they fill the building with colour.
For more information on this installation fitted in February 2004 please visit www.mkcollege.ac.uk
I do undertake commercial work, and can produce similar commissions for home and business. After initial contact I would suggest a consultation meeting be arranged to enable the client to put forward ideas, and me to assess your requirements. The artwork can be produced to fit in with your environment, tailored to suit your interior and space, and/or be symbolic of your organisation. Please call or email me, as I will be happy to discuss further.
